International Student Services is dedicated to personally helping you throughout your academic experience in Canada. If you have any questions or need more information about studying at RCCIT as an international student, please contact us at or fill out an information request.

Tutoring Services and English as a Second Language

Tutoring Services at RCCIT is an exceptional resource for international students. The program helps students succeed though support aimed at individual needs. The program offers a variety of services free of charge to all international students including:

  • English as a Second Language support
  • English conversation groups
  • Academic writing support
  • One-on-one course specific tutorials
  • Workshops that build educational skills, such as time management and effective study habits
  • One-on-one coaching to help with the transition to college

Career Services

Career Services is committed to supporting graduates in their career search. Career Services will help to connect you to a network of over 3000 industry professionals and recruiters. International graduates from a degree program, such as the Bachelor of Interior Design or Bachelor of Technology are eligible for the Post-Graduate Work Permit to stay in Canada for work.

You will have access to free workshops and personal consultation on:

  • Employment research tools
  • Networking techniques
  • Resume (CV) development
  • Interviewing skills.

RCC Institute of Technology is a Designated Learning Institute. International Students who are approved for a Study Permit can also work part-time (maximum of 20 hours per week), without applying for a separate Work Permit. Career Services offers part-time job search assistance to students who want to work to help finance their studies.
