RCCIT graduates are often recruited before they graduate, in nearly every area of business, industry, and government. The Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT) recognizes this program as meeting all the academic requirements for certification in the Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) category.
Graduates of the Bachelor of Technology can work anywhere in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and the European Union. In small classes (on average 20 students per class), you will learn design theory, analysis and practice, as well as business skills. You will develop prototypes, optimize designs, manage system operations, perform test engineering and evaluation, as well as support manufacturing and quality assurance. You will also learn how to project manage and communicate with clients and co-workers. And you will develop a professional portfolio of your work, including a new product prototype, as well as a strategic plan for your career.
