RCCIT graduates are often recruited before they graduate, in nearly every area of business, industry, and government. Accredited by the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT), graduates of the Bachelor of Technology can work anywhere in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and the European Union. The Bachelor of Electronics Engineering Technology will prepare you for rewarding career opportunities in the design and implementation of electronic products and systems including:

  • Hardware Development

In small classes (on average 20 students per class), you will learn design theory, analysis and practice, as well as business skills. You will develop prototypes, optimize designs, manage system operations, perform test engineering and evaluation, as well as support manufacturing and quality assurance. You will also learn how to project manage and communicate with clients and co-workers. And you will develop a professional portfolio of your work, including a new product prototype, as well as a strategic plan for your career.

  • Circuit design and simulation
  • Signal processing
  • Probability and statistics
  • Communications (analog, digital, data communications, high-frequency, microwave)
  • Embedded wireless systems
  • Microcontrollers
  • Networking and control systems

  • How to recommend, configure and upgrade scalable networking equipment
