Scholarship Opportunities
21st Century Technology Award
In 1990, Radio College of Canada invited Ontario’s high schools to participate in the Radio College of Canada School of Electronics Engineering Technology Decade of the 90’s Award of Excellence. The rationale for this decade-long program linked Canada’s prosperity with participation in science and technology education.
From 1990 to 2000, RCC recognized more than 1500 high school students, spending almost $250,000 on the program over the course of the decade. Along with many postsecondary institutions, RCC was part of a national initiative to increase the number of young men and women who enrolled in postsecondary programs in science and technology.
So once again School of Engineering Technology and Computing is announcing an awards program to encourage participation in technology education and careers.
School of Engineering Technology and Computing 21st Century Awards Program will recognize one student in each participating high school who contributes to a technology-based club and/or extra-curricular activity.
- The award winner will receive a Technology Award Certificate and check for $100.
