Services
The School of Engineering Technology and Computing offers a great deal of support to students to make sure that they have the resources they need to be successful and the time and energy to focus on their studies.
The Career Services staff provide assistance finding part-time jobs for current students. RCC Career Services work with each student to help them find part-time jobs in the surrounding area. In addition, students who are in good academic standing may apply for on-campus positions as lab assistants, tutors, faculty assistants, facilities crew and clerical support. Career Services also offers a unique service in helping graduates find meaningful employment in their field when they graduate. The interesting part of this service is that it is offered over the lifetime of a student. Career Services are there to support you at every stage of your career, with counselling, providing job referrals and putting you in touch with employers who need your unique skills.
RCC assists students who are in 4th semester or higher and are eligible for program-related part-time employment. This work program has an advantage over traditional “coop” programs because students do not have to disrupt their studies to gain valuable work experience.
Finally, the small classes, and focused attention you receive from your professors insures you will get the support you need to learn to your utmost potential. At the School of Engineering Technology and Computing, your success is our first priority.
